Filipino, American

Hey, my name is Sarah. My little brother Mikey is an adorable 5 year old Filipino American. (Our dad is American and his mother is Filipina.)

A lot of times he gets mistaken for being Chinese. Some people will call him nasty names. I don’t know why people think they have to put people into race categories.

I am a white american, but I’m engaged to a Filipino man. My dad and my Filipina step-mom are definitely looking forward to some Hapa grandchildren ;)
