If you submit a photo that includes other people, you must obtain the consent of all other people who appear in the photo before submitting the image to Hapa Voice. If you do not wish to grant these rights please do not submit your contribution. Not all submissions will be posted to the website.
By submitting any contribution to the website you warrant that: You are the sole owner of the material and the contribution is your own original work and that you have the right to make it available to Hapa Voice for all purposes and to grant the right and license referred to in this agreement. You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of or restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the website. Contributions must be civil and tasteful. Submissions containing hate speech will not be featured. If you are under 18, you must get a parent or guardian’s permission before making any contribution.

This release is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States of America. In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with this agreement, such dispute shall be submitted to arbitration in the state of New York, United States of America in accordance with the rules and regulations of the American Arbitration Association then in effect (as amended herein), provided that said arbitration shall be heard before a single arbitrator, selected pursuant to such rules and regulations, and shall be conducted on an expedited basis and in confidence. Each party hereby waives any and all rights and benefits which it might otherwise have or be entitled to under United States federal law or the laws of the State of New York, United States of America or any other state or country to litigate any such dispute in court, it being the intention of the parties to arbitrate, according to the provisions of this agreement, all such disputes. The arbitrator’s decision shall be controlled by the terms and conditions of this agreement and any other agreements I may enter into with you, and shall be final and binding, and shall provide for each party to bear its own costs of arbitration and attorneys fees. Each party expressly waives any right to a jury. Judgment upon the award of the arbitrator may be entered or enforced in any court of competent jurisdiction. If either party shall fail to appear at the hearing on the date designated in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, or shall otherwise fail to participate in the arbitration proceeding, the arbitrator is hereby empowered to proceed ex parte.
To the extent permissible in law, Hapa Voice will not be liable for any loss including but not limited to the following (whether such losses are foreseen, known or otherwise) loss of data, loss of revenue or anticipated profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill or injury to reputation, losses suffered by third parties, any indirect, consequential or exemplary damages.
Hapa Voice does not warrant that the functions contained in the website will be uninterrupted or error free or that the server which makes it available are free of viruses or bugs.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hapa Voice, its owners, and employees from any loss, claim, damages or expenses arising from my breach of this agreement, including any representations contained herein. I agree that the Hapa Voice, its owners, and employees shall not be liable for any of my acts or omissions in connection with the content I submit under this agreement.
