I have a Swiss Mom and Filipino Father, which is actually rare because normally it’s the reverse.
I was born in the east part of Switzerland, not far away from Germany and Austria. I was the only boy of Asian heritage in school but I’m proud to be unique.
I’m proud to say that I’m Swilipino. Switzerland has the best cheese (I love Raclette and Fondue!) and best chocolate of the world, yet I still love rice and fish. The Philippines is the best place for diving (I love diving!).
I’m proud to be Hapa.
