If there’s one thing my parents taught me, it’s that the good in everyone transcends their ethnicity. A love connection built between two continents proves it. With the help of this philosophy, I’ve had an eventful upbringing in the melting pot that is the California Bay Area. Specific to my Asian heritage, I’ve learned a language, explored a new culture, and can now return to it ready to embrace a life abroad for all it has to offer.
